Beyond Cribs and Rattles®

The Beyond Cribs and Rattles® Curriculum recognizes the importance of a high-quality learning environment in a child's classroom. It emphasizes the significance of well-chosen equipment, educational materials, and engaging toys that promote both gross and fine motor development. Language development is also highlighted as a key aspect, along with positive teaching strategies and stimulating activities.

Beyond Centers and Circle Time®

Embracing a play-based approach to education that has been successfully employed for over three decades, the Beyond Centers and Circle Time® Curriculum equips adults with the knowledge to understand children's play and create rich, well-planned, and organized play opportunities. By recognizing the various stages of children's play, adults can provide appropriate support and scaffolding, allowing children to reach their full potential.

Drawing upon extensive developmental research and sound learning theories, this curriculum is specifically tailored for preschool classrooms. It incorporates proven practices and is academically enriched, reinforcing cognitive skills, science, math, language, and social studies.

VPK approved, the Beyond Centers and Circle Time® Curriculum aligns with learning standards, ensuring meaningful content and fostering holistic development in young learners.

At Bizzy Bee Schools, we believe that every child deserves to have access to the best education. It is important to us that children are given the opportunity to reach their full potential. The Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program (VPK) offers free tuition to all 4 and 5-year-olds. The aim is to prepare children for kindergarten, no matter their background or home situation. The VPK program provides children with a firm foundation to begin their educational journey and sets them up for future success.

The VPK program helps build a strong foundation for school using educational material corresponding to various stages in a child’s development. We focus on developing core Literacy and Math skills alongside science, arts and interpersonal skills.
